Toilet Training Is A Nightmare!

Although he was SOOOOO proud of his Wiggles undies the toilet training has gone from good to shit (haha). I am about to quit and try again when perhaps he "gets it"!?

How great was that church? They were so welcoming of our screaming wild children and even let them bang away on the drums. A church with an area gated off where you can sit with your kids and let them run around playing with the toys? I don't think I actually heard one word of the service while trying to stop Finn from kicking everyone in the head with balls but it was a great space.

Weekend in Huskisson

The weekend after I got back from the cruise we went away. Louise's aunt and uncle rented the beach house we go to every October and invited us down for the weekend. We all had a great time especially Finn who got to play with "oonu" (uncle) and "aunty" all weekend. We didnt get too many photos of the whole gang but here are a few. It was a full house with us, louise's cousin and wife and aunty and uncle!!

The sea of crabs we ran into. There were actually thousands and thousands, the whole beach was covered in them and all you could hear was the clicking of them moving. The closer we got the more of them would bury themselves in the sand.

The weekend was great and it was complete with a home invasion on Sat night. A drunken man stumbled into the house around 2am and thought he was in his own place. Lucky we had aunty to escort him out!! Louise and Finn slept through the whole thing while I woke up after Hiromi screamed but proceeded to lay in bed not really knowing what was going on. All I could think was please don't wake up Finn!! haha

Finn in the tub the other night. He doesn't like getting water in hi eyes(princess!) so we use this hat. His hair has become so long it hangs over the top and he was staring at it and I thought he looked hilarious!

Cruise Away

Ok finally a few minutes to add some much needed photos to this blog. As you know a great friend of mine, Irene, won a 7 night cruise through the south pacific at her Christmas Party and lucky me got to go. We left from Brisbane and did three islands - Noumea, Lifou and Vanuatu. I didn't manage to take many photos but here are the few I did.

Here is the fabulous ship we sailed away on. 1800 passengers and a whole lot of booze.

Our little cabin. All in all we did a lot of eating, sleeping, drinking and lounging in the spa. I was sick for 2 days but after I got over the puking, it was smooth sailing. There was everything you could need on board, shows every night (really bad ones!), multiple nightclubs, casino, comedy, etc. The food was really average and I ate so many white bread rolls I didn't want to look at bread for a week after. We were ready to get off after 7 nights. It was an interesting experience and we were glad we didnt pay for it BUT it was very relaxing and I totally appreciated the break!!

Watching Monsters Inc

I was sooooo sick of watching the same Wiggles DVD's over and over that I rented a few movies the other day - Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo and Cars. Monsters Inc is a huge hit, I think I'm going to have to buy it. Here are a few shots of Finn watching it last night while eating dinner.... yes I know he shouldn't watch TV during dinner...

Royal Easter Show

Every year they have a big easter show here in Sydney. It last for a few weeks and it's huge. Kind of like the FREX but 10x bigger. We went on a few rides (me and Finn) won some prizes and got to pat pigs, lambs, calfs and all kinds of other dirty beasts. Finn LOVED it, especially his prized Dora doll. Here he is on the train on the way home.

When Finn fell asleep we high tailed it to the nearest bar and had a beer. Whilst listening to country music full blast he slept right through it.

Easter Weekend Away

We went to Terrigal for Easter Long weekend with friends and their little guy, Cam, who was born the same day as Finn. Here the boys are rocking on with the band at the pub. They were actually dancing at on stage.
